Hi guys, after two months of social distancing, my roots, are out of control so I decided to give Revlon Root Erase a try; here’s How It Went.
If you follow me on Instagram (which you should ☺️), then you probably saw the PR package Revlon sent me. In there was their Root Erase, a permanent ready-to-use root touch that works in 5-10 minutes.
At first, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to try it but after confirming with my hair colorist that it wouldn’t hurt I gave it a go. Check out the video below to see how my hair turned out.
I Tried Revlon Root Erase, Here’s How It Went
I received the Revlon® Root Erase™ in 5 Medium Brown. My natural hair is black, and I have no greys.
The can does the work for you, dispensing two creams at once—just pump, mix in the cap that doubles as a bowl, and you’re ready to begin.
Because it’s designed to be used to touch roots ups, you should have enough product left to use up to 3 times. That being said, I decided to do the whole half of my head. The application was easy and I notice it did lighten my roots a bit.
Moreover, I notice that my hair looks darker and more cool-toned than before. But I dont mind since my hair was looking very brassy.
Overall, the application was quick and simple and it did blend my hair and roots.
Maybe next time, I will go a shade lighter to get more lift in my roots. Nonetheless, It’s an excellent option for a quick fix in between hair appointments.
Finally, the idea behind the product is great, and I would use it again and recommend.
What do you think of my hair before and after? Would you give Revlon Root Erase a try?
