Winky Lux ‘Coffee Edition’ Makeup Review And Tutorial

I love brands that create makeup inspired by food, places or even animals; it gives the product a vibe.

Winky Lux is one of those brands, the creative kind, and their product packagings are some of my favorites.

The kitten Eyeshadow Palette (here) is one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes, and I reach for it very often!

The brand is also proudly cruelty-free, parabens, sulfates, gluten, phthalates free which are all the cherry on top.

I created the look below using all the colors in Winky Lux Coffee Eyeshadow Palette, the bronzer is in the shade mocha.

My Review

I want to point out again that the presentation of Winky Lux products is top notch! I’m a visual person; on my bathroom vanity, I always reach for the “fancier” looking packaging. In makeup, I gravitate to the pretty packages. Kudos to Winky Lux!

Winky Lux ‘Coffee Palette has nine shades including matte, satin, and shimmer.

The powders are smooth and blended out effortlessly with each other.

To build the shades intensity pack on more color on the brush or by wetting your brush with setting spray.

There was very little fallout and only the darker shades, I had a full face of makeup before playing with the eyeshadows, and it passed the fallout test.

Winky Lux Coffee Eyeshadow Palette formula and shade selection make this an excellent choice for the person that like a neutral but still versatile palette.

♥  Winky Lux ‘ Coffee Bronzer’ in mocha a rich matte brown shade that can be used to contour or bronze the skin. More suitable for medium-tan to darker skin tones. There is a lighter option shade for light-medium skins tone.

The shade Mocha is the perfect bronze shade, not too orange or grey. It can also be used to contour.

The texture is velvety and very pigmented; not expecting it I went too heavy on the first application causing a mark on the skin.

I switched to a fluffier brush and blend it out, this helped, and since this initial try, I have been reaching for it more often than not.

Overall I enjoyed Winky Lux Coffee Edition Collection, the eyeshadow palette is without a doubt my favorite from the collection, and I look forward to using it again. The bronzer is a perfect shade, and I see it being my go to especially in the summertime.
