Vegamour Review ‘GRO’ Hair Growth 30 Days Later

Hi guys! I want to share my Vegamour review after using the GRO Collection for 30 days in this post.

I tried their GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum, Revitalizing Shampoo, GRO Revitalizing Conditioner, and GRO Hair Serum. My goal in using these products was that they would stop my thinning hairline and help my hair grow stronger and longer. Is it worth it? Keep reading to learn my opinion.

Why The Vegamour Gro Collection?

I first saw the Vegamour Gro collection on Pinterest, then on the Sephora website in early 2022. It piqued my curiosity; I love trying new products that promise longer, healthier hair, plus the reviews were great.

After considering my routine, I decided to try their GRO WELL Hair Boost Supplement Powder + Probiotic. The little packet has an adaptogen probiotic drink mix clinically proven to help promote visibly fuller, shinier hair and support a healthy gut microbiome. I enjoyed the flavors and felt great while taking them, but I didn’t repurchase them.

A few months later, I received a lovely PR package from the brand with the Vegamour Gro Collection Products. I was stocked!

The goodies arrived at the perfect time since I have been experiencing some hair loss/thinning around the front and temples. I blame this on the stress that moving to Costa Rica caused. At this point, I was only treating the hair loss issue with supplements and my favorite DIY overnight oil treatment. But now, with the goodies from Vegamour, I was hopeful that I would see faster and better results.

My Vegamour GRO Routine

Before I get to the review, I would like to break down my hair wellness routine, details, and first impressions of the four Vegamour GRO products I have been using consistently for over a month.

Vegamour GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum

Apart from the nutrients you intake, scalp health is vital to achieving healthy hair. This is why out of all the products from the Gro collection, I was most excited about the detoxifying serum because I have become obsessed with treating my scalp and preventing flakes.

I love the user friendly-packaging and how light and practical the serum is in clearing my scalp.

What it is:

This lightweight scalp detoxifying serum is formulated to remove persistent scalp buildup gently & actively helps to soothe. It also helps lock in moisture and protects the scalp from harmful environmental pollutants.

Highlighted Ingredients & Benefits:

• Zinc: Natural, antibacterial antiseptic that supports a healthy scalp.
• Evening Primrose/ Red Clover: Reduces the appearance of flakes and inhibits hair loss hormones.

Vegamour GRO Revitalizing Shampoo and Conditioner

After reading the description of the shampoo and conditioner, I was very excited to try it, and my first impressions of the shampoo and conditioner were instantly positive.

First, the packaging is chic and functional. Plus, it has a pleasant bergamot scent. What’s more, a little bit goes a long way.

What it is:

A hair wellness duo with a color-safe, moisturizing shampoo and conditioner made with vegan b-silk™ protein to restore and protect while creating an incredibly shiny, smooth texture.

Highlighted Ingredients & Benefits:

• Karmatin™: Forms an intensely moisturizing, vegan silk barrier that smooths and shines.
• Marula, Baobab, and Murumuru Butter: Provides interfollicular hydration, nourishment, and protection from free radicals.
• Red Clover/Mung Bean: Shown to help prevent hair loss causes

How To Use:

• Lather a quarter-size amount of shampoo onto wet hair from scalp to ends.
• Massage into the scalp.
• Leave in for 60 seconds.
• Rinse.

• After shampooing, apply a quarter-size conditioner to wet hair from the scalp to the ends.
• Massage into the scalp for 60 seconds.
• Leave in for three minutes.
• Rinse.

Vegamour GRO Hair Serum

Consistency is key when seeing any results, which is why I had the highest expectations from this daily serum.

The first impression of the packaging was that it was cute, and the actual serum was silky light and easy to apply and massage into the scalp without disrupting your style.

What It Is:

A lightweight serum that increases the appearance of hair density while reducing signs of shedding to promote thicker, fuller-looking hair with clinically proven results in as little as 90 days.

Highlighted Ingredients & Benefits:

• Curcuma Longa: Promotes an epigenetic reset of the dermal papilla cells.
• Trifolium Pratense/Vigna Radiata Extract: Shows modulation of IGF1, BMP4, PDGF-A, DHT, and SMC3 during in-vitro testing.
• N. benthamiana: Known to nourish the anagen cycle of hair while strengthening roots.

How To Use:

• Apply one dropperful directly onto a dry or damp scalp.
• Leave in.
• Style as usual.
• For best results, use daily.

My Vegamour Review

My Hair Before

Let me tell you about my hair before the Vegamour Gro collection; it was dry, thinning, and lacked luster. Besides the thinning, all the other issues are always familiar to me, thanks to bleaching my hair and my #beachlife lifestyle. Nonetheless, I am always hopeful for a miracle treatment to reverse the damage.

I decided to stop using my other hair care products/DIY treatments and only use this line. Except for leave-in styling products, which the line does not carry as of this post, I wanted to see the results one can achieve after 30 days of consistent use with only this collection.

My Hair After

The detoxifying serum is a game-changer! Since using it weekly, I haven’t seen any flakes or had an itchy scalp. Plus, my scalp looks so healthy, and the hair around it, so much that it almost makes me want to stop bleaching it to see that healthy virgin shine on the length of the hair. But who am I kidding? That ain’t happening.

Also, my hair feels amazingly soft after every wash, and air dries into manageable, shinier waves. As I mentioned before, I was not expecting to like the shampoo & conditioner as much as I do, but it’s undeniably an excellent formula for my color-treated hair.

Furthermore, the hair serum is user-friendly! I’m happy because my main issue with other hair serums/oils for thinning hair is how invasive your regular hair care routine it can be. Leaving the hair looking oily and or extra dry, making them not daily-user friendly. Therefore, impossible to be consistent.

I am currently on my second bottle, and like most hair growth products, the best results are seen after at least 90 days of use. That said, I am already noticing results in less hair falling out and new baby hairs filling in my thinning hairline/temples. The Cons:

Lastly, the cons, or shall I say the con, is the price tag on these products. That said when you concider how long they last. For instance, the detoxifying serum should last a few months with a weekly application. In the shampoo and conditioner, which I use 3-5 times a week, I have about 1/4 left, which is very impressive and a great testament to “a little goes a long way” with these products.

The only one here that will only last you a month is the daily GRO Serum, which I’m currently onto my second bottle.

Now with all this in consideration, I don’t know what your budget is for hair wellness products, but all I can say is that these are worth the splurge in my book.

Ok, so what’s the verdict?

Without further ado, I can confidently say that these products are worth the try if you are dealing with thinning hair. Apart from thinning hair, they also help moisturize and treat it, and I can tell my hair is growing faster. Check out the before & after, and tell me if you can see the difference.
