My Connection With Urban Decay Naked
Today, I’m sharing details of my Urban Decay Naked Honey eyeshadow palette review. But first, let us go down memory lane to the very First makeup tutorial I uploaded to Youtube on 2011.
Urban Decay’s Naked Palette the original (discontinued) was one of the first makeup palettes I can remember buying. Or maybe it’s because before the Naked palette came out, we had nothing worth even remembering. In fact, I used the original Naked palette to create my first ever makeup tutorial HERE.
So as you can see, I have a special bond with Urban Decay and the Naked collection. I also have many memories of looks I created on clients as well. It was my go-to palette, and it will always have a special place in my makeup-loving heart.
The Urban Decay Naked eyeshadow palettes have been around for over eight years. Since the original one, I have also owned and reviewed these ones HERE, HERE and HERE.
This time Urban Decay sent me the Naked Honey eyeshadow palette in a PR package. However, I was not asked to post this review (my choice), and as always, the opinions are my own.

My first impressions of the Urban Decay Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette
When the Urban Decay Honey eyeshadow palette arrived, it could not have come at a better time. You see, I had just taken a screenshot of Jlo’s makeup look HERE and was searching for a palette to use. The golden-tone shades were precisely what I wanted for this look.
I began my review by swatching. Firstly, the colors are beautiful, and wearable with a buttery and smooth texture. Some shades were more pigmented than others. The eyeshadows do, However, layer and build effortlessly. Secondly, and most importantly, I used the Naked Honey palette to create a makeup look. Moreover, I recorded a tutorial to share my first impressions of the palette with you.
Makeup Tutorial Using UD Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette
I created this makeup tutorial inspired by the look MUA Hrush Achemyan @styledbyhrush did for Jennifer Lopez. And for the face, I used Scott Barnes techniques as shown on Taty @glamlifeguru HERE. Check out my tutorial and the products used HERE.
My Urban Decay Naked Honey Eyeshadow palette review
I have been using the Naked Honey eyeshadow palette every single time I’ve done my makeup since I first used it. In other words, I’m OBSESSED with this palette, and here’s why.
First of all, the eyeshadows are silky smooth and blend effortlessly with barely any fallouts. Secondly, the eyeshadows are long-wear, and even after wearing my makeup for over 10 hours, the eyeshadows were popping. However, this might also be with the help of the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion HERE. Thirdly, and most importantly, the Urban Decay Naked Honey palette is an all year round palette. Why is this important to me? Because a palette that can transition into all the seasons with you is a good investment. Moreover, the double-ended brush does a great job of packing on and blending the shades.
In conclusion, Urban Decay’s new Naked Honey eyeshadow palette is a must-try if you are on the market for a neutral eyeshadow palette that can do it all!
