The best way to start a week is with some #selfcare, and here are three reasons why I do it. Firstly, I feel so productive and clear-headed when I take this time for myself. Secondly, I can see such an improvement in my skin and hair when I stay consistent. And thirdly, but most importantly, I spend most of my day taking care of others, so this time to #selfcare is precious and something I never take for granted.
One of my favorite ways to treat my self is with a facial! I love how amazing my skin feels and looks afterward. Once to twice a month, I like to include dermaplaning to my #homespa day.
#selfcare With A DIY Dermaplaning Facial
On this occasion, I used @michaeltoddbeauty sonic smooth for the face. Dermaplanning is an exfoliating treatment that uses a blade to remove facial hair and dead skin. For the brow area, I use a razor and tweezers to clean and shape them.
One of the advantages of dermaplaning is that it provides a deeper product penetration. So at this point, I like to use mask to target my main concerns at the moment.
Currently my biggest complaint is the texture and and breakouts I’ve been having lately. For this reason I decided to use @ernolaszlonyc Exfoliate & Detox Hydrogel Mask.
