Clarins Skin Illusion Foundation Review

I have to be honest and admit that I never really considered  Clarins when it came to makeup.

For skincare, however, they are one of my top choices with products like the Double Serum HERE they are, leaders, in the skincare industry.

So when they announced the new ‘Skin Illusion’, their first-ever serum foundation inspired by face treatment oils, I was intrigued.

What can be better than combining a foundation with Clarins Iconic face treatment oils?!

Clarins Skin Illusion combines the fluidity of pure plant oils with the perfect amount of pigments for smooth, buildable coverage with a second skin finish.

The Clarins Skin Illusion foundation is the first wide color range for the brand available in 22 shades, it costs $44, and comes packaged in a heavy glass dropper style bottle.

Consistent with its claims, the formula feels lightweight and blends effortlessly onto the skin leaving the skin looking instantly healthier and glowing.

The first time I tested this product I was on-the-go, doing my makeup in the car as usual and I could not get over how flawless my skin looked.

My skin felt like it does right after my skincare routine, fresh and hydrated and it looked radiant and youthful until I removed my makeup that night.

I wanted to make sure my skin was not sensitive to any of the ingredients and that it passed different climates before reviewing it so I continued testing it.

I used different primers, sometimes no primer and each time I was blown away with how radiant and airbrushed my skin looked.

Although I was already in love with the performance of this foundation I wanted to see how it looked on mature skin.

I asked my Ma-in-law if I could do her makeup for a wedding recently and boy was I impressed.

Her before and after below speaks for itself, and that was all I needed to see to rave about this formula.

Clarins Skin Illusion Foundation is a must try, and I recommend it to anyone that’s looking for a lightweight skin perfecting foundation for everyday wear.
