With brands creating a new collection every month, and an oversaturated beauty industry, it is a true testament to quality when a product gets repurchased over and over again.

Most of the products in this tutorial have become essentials in my collection even after eight-plus years, so I had this idea to do makeup tutorials featuring past makeup faves that are still current today.

I had so much fun picking thru which products to use; I can remember exactly why, who or what motivated me to purchase it.

The main Throwback product in this video was the must-have makeup palette; Urban Decay The Naked Palette.

Since its release date back in 2010, I have repurchased it at least three times, and it will forever hold a special place in my heart since I used it to create my very first ever makeup tutorial back in 2011. Check it out HERE. 

For foundation I used Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, I purchase this foundation every time I run out of it which is at least once a year for the past seven years. Check out a post I did back way then HERE.

Another product that brought back so many memories and I had not use it on myself for a long time is MAC Pro Conceal And Correct Palette. This palette has been a must-have in my proffesional makeup kit since Mac came out with these in 2013.

The original banana powder; Ben Nye Banana Powder. I first raved about this product back in 2013 HERE.

This powder has inspired so many other setting powders that we love today, but I find that every time I use it, I fall back in love with it again. The price for quality is yet to be beaten.

The last product I want to highlight from this tutorial is a highlight 😉 THE first highlight I fell in love with was created by the talented Mario Dedivanovic back in 2010.

Since then, the product still carries the same name and is sold by the same retailer Giella HERE but is no longer being promoted as Mario’s creation. Not sure what the tea is here but its still one of my faves to this date.

I hope that you enjoy the quick tutorial since I plan on doing them at least twice a month on Thursdays since I recorded this tutorial I have been reaching for a lot of these products.
