I can’t express how happy I was when I found out I would be one of the first to get my hands on Dr. Dennis Gross new product launch the ‘Clinical Grade Resurfacing Peel.’ I literally ran to my studio to unbox it and test it the instant it was delivered.

My love for clinical peels started at the age of 22, and I’m so happy that since then we have evolved and brands are creating at home versions accessible to anyone looking for a complexion overhaul.

The purpose of a peel is to exfoliate the skin using acids. There are different kinds of acids including lactic, salicylic, glycolic, and retinoid.

When applied to the skin these acids interact with proteins causing exfoliation and peeling of the skin. Different acids produce peeling at different depths allowing a superficial, medium and deep peel.

Peels can be used to improve acne, pigmentation, freckling, wrinkles, skin tone and texture. They are an excellent way to freshen the skin and to maintain skin health and beauty.

Fun Fact: Dr. Deniss Gross’s ‘Alpha Beta Daily Peel,’ HERE, was the first peel product I reviewed on my blog seven years ago!

Dr. Dennis Gross ‘Clinical Grade Resurfacing Liquid Peel’

What is it?

Dr. Dennis Gross formulated and patented a pharmaceutical grade two-step, at home peel with ingredients like Alpha Beta acids, and bromelain to smooth and correct signs of aging.

How it works: A two-step process that can be used AM or PM for up to three times a week.

Step 1: Resurfaces the skin and jumpstarts the cell-turnover process with Lactic, Glycolic and other AHAs + Bromelain.

Step 2: Corrects signs of aging, and help balance the skin with Centella Asiatica, Green tea extract, and Colloidal oatmeal

My First Impressions and Review

My first impressions of Dr. Dennis Gross ‘Clinical Grade Resurfacing Liquid Peel’ packaging is positive. Both Step 1 & 2 are clearly labeled with clear instruction on how to use.

After cleansing my skin, I applied both treatment 1 & 2 following the steps and was pleasantly surprised at how my skin instantly looked brighter right after the first treatment.

I love a product that can be used both AM or PM however because it resurfaces the skin I prefer to use it as part of my night-time routine.

Since this first trial I have used the resurfacing liquid peel a total of three times, and I have to say that I love!

Much like the peels I have shed thousands of dollars on from medical spas, Dr. Dennis Gross ‘Clinical Grade Resurfacing Liquid Peel’ leaves my skin looking like it did in my early 20’s.

I have also noticed that every other product I use in my routine is performing better, as well as my foundation.

In a short week, my skin looks more vibrant, even and smoother and I have not experienced any irritation.

I’m not one to recommend a product so soon after trying it out, but I can recognize a gem when I try one, and Dr. Dennis Gross’ Clinical Grade Liquid Peel’ is LEGIT!

If you have dull, uneven tone and texture, wrinkles, large pores and rough skin I recommend you give Dr. Dennis Gross ‘Clinical Grade Liquid Peel’ a try.
