My Review
I took way too long to post this review, and looking back I am glad I did because it was not going to be a fair one.
As soon as the Anastasia Beverly Hills ‘Amrezy’ highlighter was announced live on the website I made sure to be one of the first to get it, mainly because I honestly thought it would sell out within minutes. It is still available.
The delivery time was surprisingly fast, and as soon as I received the package, I used it that same day.
The shade is champagne gold with a metallic sheen finish, I love the wavy design on the pan.
I did my makeup that day in the car on the way to my nephews B-day party, and I was surprisingly disappointed. The highlighter made my skin look ashy and lackluster.
I honestly was ready to tell the world how crappy the Amrezy highlighter is but was very hesitant and this is why.
The same day I used this highlighter I was also using a new foundation, and concealer.
My skin was also very dehydrated and had breakouts, these factors can affect the result of any product so I gave it a second try.
For the second trial, I made sure to exfoliate my skin; I also used products that I know I love and the result it gives my skin.
This time I was able to appreciate the beauty of this highlighter, it is stunning!
The texture is smooth, highly pigmented and has excellent longevity.
The Anastasia Beverly Hills ‘Amrezy” Highlighter will be my go-to for when I’m doing more dramatic looks since it is a very luminous glow that can look unnatural with light makeup.
