I’ve been using Summer Fridays ‘Overtime Mask’ for a few weeks and here is my review.

In case you are not familiar with the brand, Summer Fridays was created by two bloggers; Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores Ireland.

Using their expertise and desire for beauty products that are clean but effective they first released the Jet Lag Mask.

The Jetlag Mask entered the market back in March, and it instantly became a best seller in Sephora.

If you follow me on Instagram then you have seen me rave about the Jetlag mask many times, it works and makes my skin look and feel its best.

That is why I had no hesitation in trying out their latest release the Overtime Mask.

The Overtime Mask is a clarifying mask meant for dull and congested skin. It uses vitamin-packed pumpkin and exfoliating apricot seed powder to gently polish away dead skin cells for a luminous effect. View full ingredient list HERE.

Summer Fridays Overtime Mask priced at $44, is vegan, cruelty-free, sulfate-free, paraben-free, has no synthetic dyes or fragrances.

Packaged in a pretty melon colored aluminum tube, not only is the packaging pretty to look at but it also claims to conserve the product better.

The mask is easy to use, wash your face as you usually would, then massage the mask into the skin for 60 seconds. Leave on for 10 minutes before rinsing off.

Marianna and Lauren recommend to follow up with the jet lag mask, which will hydrate and plump your skin.

Summer Fridays ‘Overtime Mask’ Review

Because I was already familiar with the packaging, my first impression was focused on the actual product.

The first thing I did, as with any product I first try is to smell it.

It smells like pumpkin pie, not too loud, just the right amount of scent.

The mask itself is not thick, it has a “lotion” consistency, and you can see the physical exfoliators.

It’s easy to apply to the skin and has a great slip. I massaged the mask, focusing on my problematic areas for 60 seconds.

The texture is perfect, my skin did not feel irritated from the beads, and I felt a light tingle.

After 10 minutes I washed it off and instantly checked out my skin, which looked brighter and felt smoother than before.

I followed up with the Jet-Lag Mask and woke up the next day to plumped and dewy skin.

Two weeks later I am still reaching for the Overtime mask twice a week and have noticed a vast improvement in my skin.

I love using it before I’m wearing makeup or at night after a long day.

With any product that I use, I am always trying to find things I would improve, and it’s sporadic when I don’t have any negative feedback but its that good!

Everything about it is excellent and you can tell that both Marianna and Lauren put a lot of thought into their products.

In conclusion, Summer Fridays ‘Overtime Mask’ is a must try!
