Springtime in New England is so lame, seriously, what is Spring?
Part of me wants to embrace the season, but the other part; the one that’s cold AF wants to put on the comfiest joggers, sweater, and a coat.
However, still knowing how short the nice weather is, if you were to shop my closet, you would find nothing but warm weather clothes and shoes.
It’s the most backward way of shopping, I own about 50 open toe shoes and maybe four boots!
See I am a little bit of a shopaholic, but the hoarding kind. Like I buy just to decorate my closet.
I’m not always thinking about how much use I can get out of a garment. Instead, I’m envisioning wearing it on this “special” non-existing warm occasion.
Well, my friends, I put my foot down on myself, I took a hard look in the mirror, and asked WTF is wrong with you?
Why in the world would you buy these beautiful pieces of clothes/shoes and then not wear them?
Well, 2018 is my year of challenges, I have challenged myself to wear every single piece of clothing in my closet, no excuses!
This challenge will not only feel great because I will be getting my money worth, but it will also help me purge from clothes that no longer fit me.

This little piece from Guess is so versatile, it will transition well into the Summer, and even in the fall by just adding stockings.
For this look, I paired it with a mock neck top, one because it was so cold, also to make the dress look less “revealing.” For shoes, I went with my favorite Stuart Weitzman boot.
