Eye makeup is all about the lashes, which give your eye shape and depth. It’s no surprise, then, that mascara usually ranks as number one or two, right after lipstick, as the most popular product for women. Mascara is used to darken, thicken, emphasize, lengthen, and/or define the lashes. There are many different brands and type of mascaras but the brush is the key to a great lash look. Then there are the fake lashes for those of us that don’t have a lot of lashes, or like to go for the more dramatic, or sexy look. Check out my tips below and leave your comments, Good Luck Xxx
Best Brush? One with a combination of small and large bristles.
- Small brushes with small bristles dye the lashes the best.
- Longer bristles separate the lashes better.
- Curved brushes curl the lashes.
- Professional Eyelash Curler: Curl your lashes before applying mascara, positioning the curler as close to the roots of your lashes. Keeping your eyes open, gently squeeze the curler closed. Don’t curl your lashes after you apply mascara or they will break!!
- Fake Eyelashes: There are so many kinds to choose from, synthetic, human hairs, and mink hair that look amazing! Use a white (clear) or black adhesive. I personally like black, because it allows me to see the results faster (white takes a minute or two to become clear).
A single individual lash: Gives the most natural look.
Strip Lashes: For a dramatic effect consider purchasing strip lashes.
Three-Quarter Lashes: The lashes seem to be specially directed to the external corner of the eye, making the look more impressive and romantic.
Lower Lashes: Indeed lower lashes might seem a bit artificial, especially if having rare and thin natural eyelashes. Apply them either on or underneath your real lashes. Proceed as you would do with the individual false eyelashes.
