If the eyes are the window to your soul, then think of Concealer as Windex and lashes are the curtains…
When it comes to eye area imperfections in the book, I have them all! This means I have high demands from my concealer. I have been lucky to find some great ones out there, but what’s life if you are not trying out something new and maybe better.
Enters Dior Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer a high-pigment, waterproof Concealer that claims to hide and neutralize imperfections all day. “The hydrating liquid formula stays comfortable, and will not crease, crack or settle into lines, provide full coverage with a fresh matte finish.”- Available in 10 fair to medium-deep shades.
The Claims:
This concealer covers completely, thanks to extreme density pigments, which offer 33 percent more pigment than the Diorskin Forever Fluid Foundation. This high density creates extreme camouflage with just one coat. The hydrating formula is key to lasting wear. It features multiple full coverage shades for one-coat camouflage and crease-proof concealing. It’s designed with a cushiony doe-foot applicator for easy, precise, and foolproof application.
Price: $34
My First Impression:
The container is plastic, without losing the elegant feel and look of the brand, the applicator is sponge tipped.
Very little product was needed to conceal my under eyes, the consistency offers just the right amount of slip for perfect blendability.
The formula dries to a beautiful matte finish; I like to call this finish a healthy matte.
The shade Honey Beige 040 is too close to my skin, for a more brightening effect, I always go one or two shades lighter.
I lightly set the eyes and went about my day.
My final Review
Dior Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer hits all their claims with of highly pigments, hydrating formula, crease-proof concealing and extended wear.
I am very much in love with the formulation of this concealer, I love using it to conceal imperfection on the face, and the shade is so close to my skin color it blends in flawlessly.
If I were to repurchase it, I would go at least one shade lighter so that I can use it under the eyes to brighten, which is easier said then done since the shade range is limited to only ten colors. The product is relatively new, so I do hope that Dior comes out with more shades in the future and cater to a broader range of skin tones. They nailed it on the formula.
