I want to get ID’d at the liquor store when I’m 40
It’s unbelievable how skincare priorities change when you start to notice the signs of aging, for a product to gain my attention it had to have keywords like mattifying and clear skin. Now I look for packaging that read, anti-aging, glow, radiant, or like this one: Capture Youth. Sold!

My First impressions:
As with most Dior products its always positive, the packaging is beautiful and looks exactly like what it is, a Luxury product. The packaging a light pink jar and comes with a small little spoon like a spatula to avoid product contamination.
The product is not fragrance-free, but the scent is very light and not noticeable after a few minutes.
The texture is creamy, and I had to massage it for a few seconds for it to absorb completely.
My skin looked dewy and more toned after 10 minutes of application.
After 30 minutes and getting ready to apply my makeup I noticed my skin seemed too oily. I went ahead and used a rice blotting paper and proceeded to do my makeup as usual, after just two hours my makeup was a mess! So first impression not so good.
My Final Review:
I have been using Dior Capture Youth for seven weeks now, on and off and I neither love it or hate it. Would I repurchase it? Probably not. Would I recommend it? Yes, but only to people with dry skin and even at that I wouldn’t trust it under makeup.
Every time that I applied it under my makeup, it was a mess no matter the type of foundation or primer I used. When I use it as a night creme which is what I do now, or if I’m not wearing any makeup that day, my skin appears smoother and more vibrant.
The product is great and delivers most of its claims on the skin appearance but when you consider the price tag and that its texture makes it better for night time use only. There are just better options in the market and at even half the price tag as this.
If I’m going to be raving about a $95 dollar face creme it just has to spectacular!
